Find us in the UK at the Beaconsfield Club in Shrewsbury

Welcome to the home of Shrewsbury Male Voice Choir. We sing for pleasure, and to give pleasure to others as well as raising money for any charity that wishes to use our services. Please visit our other site pages. There is a wealth of information both about the choir and the town where we live. Below, you will find some advice on how to find the Beaconsfield Club where we rehearse, and an invite to join or just listen. We hope you enjoy spending a few minutes with us.

Norman Grindlay,
Web Master

The Beaconsfield Club entrance is on Meadow Place which is just off Raven Meadow between the Bus Station and the Railway Station. Enter through the gate in the railings.

All Male Voice Choirs need an influx of new members. Membership is open to all male voices. A solo quality voice is not necessary. A will to learn, to make a commitment to the group and to enjoy yourself are !

There is a strong ladies section which supports the choir. Wives and girlfriends are always welcome to support the choir and join in any social activities, or organise them !

We rehearse every Monday evening from 7.15pm till 9.15pm at the Beaconsfield Club. Just ring the door bell to gain entrance. If you are interested, please come along. Sit and listen with no commitment. If you wish to join us, you will find a very warm welcome

This Web Site has been designed for an 800 x 600 screen resolution. If you have difficulty in seeing it, please contact me on the choir email address. Any sound is in MP3 format. To reduce file size, the quality has had to be reduced, and is regretfully not as perfect as the original
