Find us in the UK at the Lord Hill Hotel, Shrewsbury

Welcome to the home of Shrewsbury Male Voice Choir. We are a choir of about 70 voices. We sing for pleasure, and to give pleasure to others as well as raising money for any charity that wishes to use our services. Please visit our other site pages. There is a wealth of information both about the choir and the town where we live. Below, you will find some advice on how to find the Lord Hill Hotel, and an invite to join or just listen. We hope you enjoy spending a few minutes with us.

Norman Grindlay,
Web Master

The Lord Hill Hotel is in Abbey Foregate between the Lord Hill Column which is by the Shirehall, and Shrewsbury Abbey. The statue faces the town and Shrewsbury Abbey. The hotel is on the left 300 yards from the Column going towards the Abbey

All Male Voice Choirs need an influx of new members. Membership is open to all male voices. A solo quality voice is not necessary. A will to learn, to make a commitment to the group and to enjoy yourself are !

There is a strong ladies section which supports the choir. Wives and girlfriends are always welcome to support the choir and join in any social activities, or organise them !

We rehearse every Monday evening from 7.30pm till 9.30pm at the Lord Hill Hotel. If you are interested, please come along. Sit and listen with no committment. If you wish to join us, you will find a very warm welcome

This Web Site has been designed for an 800 x 600 screen resolution. If you have difficulty in seeing it, please contact me on the choir email address. Any sound is in MP3 format. To reduce file size, the quality has had to be reduced, and is regretfully not as perfect as the original
